Nestled near the bay, in Monterey's world renowned Cannery Row, Sly McFly's has earned a reputation in Monterey as the place to hear blues. The club has featured regional and national acts, including Tommy Castro, Chris Cain, James Armstrong, The Coasters, The Drifters, and a bucketful of local favorites. Colorful stained glass windows with antique race car motifs brighten up the place, and the view of the Pacific is nothing less than spectacular. The bright white walls are sparsely adorned with prints and other racing paraphernalia. Sly McFly's happy hour was a runner-up in the Coast Weekly's annual best-of poll. |
